I'm a born and bred New Yorker. Having graduated from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook, my original intention was to go into medicine, but a freak skydiving accident brought me in for my first chiropractic visit and I was hooked.
I finished New York Chiropractic College in 1989. A couple of years later, a visit to Portland; Mount Hood and Powell's, convinced me to move here.
Early on at the Chiropractic College, a running injury and it's treatment proved to me the importance of adjusting the extremities and improving my technique has always been a strong motivator for me.
Different adjusting techniques fascinated me and I continue to be passionate about learning new ones.
Currently, in my office I use a combination of soft tissue and different adjusting techniques, such as:
∙Graston,
∙Myofascial release,
∙Trigger point work,
∙Activator,
∙Impulse instrument,
∙Biokinetics,
∙Torque Release,
∙Koren Specific
∙Motion Palpation.
I treat the full spine and extremities. I believe that the body's wisdom is in knowing how to heal itself and I'm a facilitator in that process. I've treated infants to retirees, desk jockeys to athletes.
Out of the office, I've supported the Oregon Humane Society, Bradley Angle House and Free Geek. I was a Model Mugging self defense instructor for a number of years as well as an EMT.
On a typical weekend, you might find me at Powell's, doing Qi Gong or on the dance floor.

"The system works as a whole. Whatever happens at one point happens at each point of the system simultaneously.
If the system is tightened at one point, the whole system is tightened." - Buckminster Fuller, 1975
