Peter Gold
Profile:Peter graduated from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts’ 1000-hour massage therapy program in June of 2001. He describes his work as “deep tissue massage with subtlety,” which means it feels really good, goes deep, but doesn’t hurt. Blending deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, and the gentle touch of osteopathic inspired manual manipulation, Peter facilitates clients’ return to their native health. His years of qigong, tai chi, and yoga practice form the energetic foundation for his massage practice. In the fall of 2008 he began a master’s program in counseling psychology and intends to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology upon graduation. When not studying or giving massage, Peter enjoys writing, documentary film-making, and photography. Rates:
